Our parent company A Door System, Ltd. (a California Corporation since 1981) has strived to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with our customers throughout its history. Since it's inception in the year 2000, eBuildersSource has continued with that policy. Our program is designed to make your dealings with us as simple as possible. The information below explains our general business guidelines. Prices and Terms of Sale are subject to Change without Notice.
INTERNET CREDIT CARD CAPABILITIES: Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted through our secure online terminal.
BANK CHECK and ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER (EFT) CAPABILITIES: Checks or Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT's) will be accepted with the proviso that your order will be delayed until the funds are secured.
FREIGHT TERMS - Large Orders : All orders are F.O.B. factory. For NET orders of $2,500.00 or more, freight will be prepaid in the continental U.S. for shipment the most economical way. For shipments to Hawaii, Alaska and Canada freight will be determined or allowed on a case by case basis.
SHIPPING / HANDLING - All other orders : All other freight is shipped UPS Ground, except by special order. Shipping / handling rates for online orders are based on the total number of products as well as the weight, length and girth of the order.
MINIMUM ORDER LEVEL: A surcharge of $7.50 will be added and the discount will be rescinded on orders not reaching the Minimum Order Threshold Amount (MSRP) posted on the website.
TELEPHONE SUPPORT - Contractor's Desk : This service is provided (at no cost) to Construction Professionals. All other support requests should be submitted by email through our Contact Page or "Live Support."
ORDERING INFORMATION: All orders must be placed online through our secure terminal to receive the standard discount. Orders by telephone or fax are discouraged, and their discounts (if any) will be determined by the size and type of order. For bulk orders over $3,500.00, please complete the Request for Quote Form Online, fax your company RFQ to 800.296.7190 or call us at 916.777.6495. All orders are Subject to Acceptance by eBuildersSource.
STOCKING AND AVAILABILITY: Many so-called "stocking distributors" stock their errors, returned orders, and maybe certain best sellers. This increases average shelf time and the possibility that you may receive obsolete or previously returned items. We are a factory direct distributor, which means that your products will usually be fresher and arrive faster and for less freight cost in many cases. Average lead times range from 1 to 10 business days, depending on the factory's shipping queue, the type of shipping and product(s) ordered.
RETURNS AND ALLOWANCES: No merchandise will be accepted for return or credit unless prior written approval is obtained. Returned merchandise must be of recent sale, in restock able / resalable quality, size and condition (unused and in original, unopened packaging). Materials must be returned within 10 days of authorization and accepted by the manufacturer. We will not accept any return after 90 days of the original purchase date, with the exception that any unit installed and found to have a manufacturer's defect will be repaired at no charge and returned. Replacement or credit will not be issued on these units. A minimum 35% fee plus freight charges will be made for returns. Material that is not in standard stock sizes, is made to special order, has a custom finish or has been sold at special consideration or close-out is not returnable in most cases. In a few cases, special order materials are returnable at a minimum increased restocking fee of 50% plus freight charges.
CANCELLATION CHARGES: Due to manufacturer's policies, non-stock and special order material cannot be canceled once the order has been placed with the factory in most cases. In a few cases, canceled orders for special material, non-stock sizes or special sizes are subject to cancellation charges ...based on factory and/or distributor expense and material used.
BACK CHARGES: We are not responsible for, do not authorize and will not accept any charges for the cost of any labor or material incurred by anyone for any installation, repair, service or replacement.
PRODUCT WARRANTY: Defective goods shall be replaced. Any other claims must comply with the manufacturer's warranty. We will facilitate any warranty claim on products purchased FROM eBuildingSource in accordance with the specific manufacturer policies.
SHORTAGE OR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT: Please open your shipment when delivered and confirm that your order is complete and that all material in your order is undamaged before signing for receival. This is especially important when glass products are involved. If your order is damaged, note this on the shipping tag and return any boxes containing damaged products (please take receipt of boxes containing undamaged products). Contact us immediately at 916.777.6495. Failure to contact us within 7 days of receipt of goods constitutes acceptance.
NON-STOCK FINISH INFORMATION: Some items are not normally stocked in certain finishes by the manufacturers. ‘Batch charges’ may be required to achieve our normally fast lead-times. To avoid batch charges, longer lead-times (up to 8 weeks) may be required.
LITERATURE REQUESTS: Selected product literature produced by the manufacturers we carry is available to you at no charge.
